Yeah seriously, this blog is a sweet idea. I still think myspace would be better, considering half the youth group has one already, but, you know, that's just my opinion.
And to respond to Emily's question... God doesn't make people hurt. People make people hurt. Man's sin has brought corruption, pain, and ultimately death to this world. But, of course, there is hope. God answers prayer and bestows His grace to whomever He wills, whenever He chooses.
Ephesians 1:11-12 says, "In him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will, in order that we, who were the first to hope in Christ, might be for the praise of his glory."
Though it may not make much sense, Wayne's passing was in God's plan. Remember what Paul says in Philipians 1:21 "To live is Christ, to die is gain."
Mr. Fritch is with God right now; what could be better? God will ultimately use this to glorify Himself.
Our hearts go out to the Fritch family during the tragic time.
May grace and peace be with you always in our Lord Jesus Christ. -JP

Emily, that comment above was from Jon Pirot. I just want to tell you that I appreciate your openness and honestly in expressing your confusion! Hopefully this will be a place where we can encourage each other and be there for each other.
Don't be hesitant to mourn for Mr. Fritch. Jesus says in Matthew 5:4 "Blessed are those that mourn, for they shall be comforted". We often (more often than not, LOL) don't have a clear view of what God is up to. We see things from our perspectives and things look bad. We need to challange ourselves to see things from God's perspective instead. Here is God's perspective on death from Psalm 116:15 "Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints".
That doesn't make it any easier to deal with for us, the loss is still hard. In the meantime we must cry out to God for our strength and peace. Psalm 77:1 "I cried out to God with my voice, even unto God with my voice; and he gave ear unto me". Let's continue to cry out to God because He is listening. :)

No. I figured out a way to make it work. when you want to post a comment what you do is click on post a comment at the bottom of the screen and if it doesnt say "you are currently posted as jesusgirly93 or cdawg18 click on sign up here and then click on sign in to old blogger then at the right corner at the top of the page enter the email address you used and password and click remember me on this computer and then sign in. And then go back to the RBC youth blog page and it should say you are currently posting as cdawg18 or jesusgirly93. so lets say it says you are currently posted as cdawg18 and you want to use a different screen name like jesusgirly93 then click on use a different account and do the same thing i said earlier.
